This week at Delaware Valley Veterans’ Home

Another fun-filled week is ahead for our residents! From activities and entertainment to social time and special events, there’s always something happening at DVVH.

Activities are more than just fun — they play an important role in supporting the overall health and well-being of seniors by encouraging socialization, movement, mental stimulation, and emotional wellness.

We are proud to create meaningful experiences that help our veterans stay active, involved, and smiling every day!

Yesterday was a cool and windy day for our Veterans & Youth Program Raffle Ticket sales but we made it thru at Torresdale Boys Club in N.E. Philly despite the gusty 25+ mph winds which made it tough to keep anything on the table, including the cover. 😅

Today was a much nicer day with warm sunlight and just a slight breeze at Andonio's Diner, also in N.E. Philly.
