🌞💚 Mental Health Matters! 💚🌞
A huge thank you to The Bridge Way School for hosting such an amazing Mental Health Block Party! We had a wonderful time connecting with community members and sharing self-care items, including Lush Cosmetics North America Thrive Causemetics and Bombas. After all, nothing says mental health and self-care quite like taking a moment to care for yourself and your well-being.

The girls had a great time handing out socks to all the children who attended, spreading smiles and kindness throughout the event. We also had the opportunity to meet so many incredible organizations, vendors, and community partners who are making a difference every day.

It is always a pleasure catching up with Joe Picozzi Senator Joe Picozzi and spending time with the amazing staff and students at The Bridge Way School. Thank you for all that you do to support mental health awareness and strengthen our community.

The weather was beautiful—minus the wind—but we'll take a breezy day over rain any time! ☀️💨

🎭❤️ A Huge THANK YOU from Socks for the Streets! ❤️🎭

Wow! What an incredible night! We want to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Comedy Night Fundraiser—whether you purchased a ticket, made a donation, bought raffle tickets, or simply helped spread the word.

Because of your support, we had an amazing turnout, lots of laughter, and a room full of people coming together to help make a difference in the lives of those we serve. We laughed until our cheeks hurt, crossed our fingers for the raffles, and proved that doing good and having a good time can go hand in hand!

To everyone who attended: thank you for spending your evening with us. To those who donated but couldn't make it: thank you for believing in our mission. And to anyone who laughed at jokes they didn't quite understand just because everyone else was laughing—we appreciate your dedication too! 😂

Your support allows us to continue providing assistance, resources, and hope to those experiencing homelessness and hardship in our community.

Due to the National Weather Service predicting an extended forecast that includes three consecutive days of a heat index of 95 or above, Philadelphia’s Office of Homeless Services is declaring a Code Red, going into effect today (5-18-26) at noon. Code Red will end on Wednesday, May 20th at 8pm.

Socks for the Streets prepared and served the meal at St. Mark’s yesterday. Dining with Dignity was an awesome time. We served a ham, pasta, broccoli and cheese casserole, with salad and a roll. The cookies for desert were a big hit. We assembled a take home bag of PNB&J sandwiches with a drink and snack. Want to thank everyone who made it happen - Ana, Bob, Declan, Emily and Liz.
