We completed our outdoor season last weekend with an overall 2nd place finish at the Ernie Sims Invitational at FSU. We are proud of our team and the dedication they’ve demonstrated since April. Congratulations to our entire team for their performance and a special shoutout to Xydei Subido for winning the overall “boys” MVP trophy. He won the 100M, 200M, and 400M in his age group. He had a special day. Our kids ended the day with multiple top 10 finishes in their respective age groups.

We are incredibly proud to have one of our athletes representing Navarre Xpress Track Club at the AAU Junior Olympics this year at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa! Nic, a standout varsity athlete at Navarre High School, has had an outstanding summer season and has earned the opportunity to compete against the nation’s best as he pursues his goal of becoming an AAU All-American. To help offset the costs of travel and lodging, Nic has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser. Congratulations to our team for participating at the AAU Region 9 track meet in Pensacola, Florida. Once again we had multiple top 5 finishes, broke personal records, and competed very well against 16 teams. Below is our medal winners from their respective age group. Congratulations to Mason Cameron for qualifying and running at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor meet this weekend and competing in the Freshman 400M. He is one of the top freshman 400M long sprinters in the nation. Good luck from Navarre Xpress and everyone back home.

Congratulations to our team for competing at the Alabama State Games yesterday. It was a large meet with 35 teams from Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Tennessee. We broke more personal records, earned multiple top 10 finishes and collected 10+ medals. It was a long hot day but these kids stayed resilient and showed out.

Congratulations to our team for bringing home our 4th straight AAU District Championship. Our boys (1st) and girls (6th) accumulated the most team points overall yesterday at their meet. Thank you to all of the coaches and parents for your commitment and support for the program. We collected 69 medals and 25 first place finishes. Jayden Jones and Xydei Subido swept the sprint events winning the 100M, 200M, and 400M, in their respective age groups. Nick Hernandez was a distance standout winning the 3000M and the 1500M. All of the kids performed well and we achieved multiple personal records as individuals and as a team. Congratulations again to all our athletes for your hard work and dedication to the sport.

We will meet at 5:30 PM by the packet pickup area this Sat for the Sunset Stampede. Wear your NVX gear if you have some, otherwise wear comfortable athletic attire. Recommend eating smart the next couple days, stay hydrated, and get plenty of rest.

If participating, please state so in the comments on this post so we know who to be on the lookout for. Coach Mari and I will be there wearing NVX XC shirts.

Registration for our Track and Field season will open Saturday April 4th 2026 at 9:00am. Registration will be in-person only and the location will be at the Navarre High School track. The first day of official practice (updated) is April 11th 2026. You can register on either day.

Registration location: 8600 High School Blvd

Date: April 4th (in-person only)

Ages: 8-18

Time: 9:00am

Fee: $150
