After thoughtful reflection, I’ve made the decision to step down from my role as President on the CAPA Alumni Board due to personal differences and the emergence of new career opportunities that require my full attention.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who supported me in presiding over the board, even for this brief time. It was truly an honor to serve and to work alongside specific individuals who care so deeply about CAPA and its legacy.

As a continued commitment to supporting the CAPA alumni community, I am excited to share that I will be working with a small group of alumni from various graduating classes this month to brainstorm and launch a monthly virtual forum open to all alumni, regardless of dues-paying status. This space will be centered on:

• Expressing community needs
• Sharing resources
• Identifying ways to support CAPA High School
• Building connection and fellowship among CAPA alumni

If permitted, I will share details about this new alumni initiative on the CAPA Alumni page. If not, I will be sure to distribute the information via email at the start of May (on a new page).

Thank you again for your support, encouragement, and belief in the work. I look forward to continuing to build with you all in new and meaningful ways.
