The Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas, Inc. (GGAA) issues this statement to clarify recent public discussion concerning the litigation captioned Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas, Inc. v. Fred Gwyan, Jeremiah Shar, Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., and Bank of America Corporation, Case No. CV-2017-010609, in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
On May 27, 2026, the Court entered a Judgment of Non Pros after a motion was presented in connection with Plaintiff's failure to prosecute its claims at trial. The order concluded the pending litigation; however, it did not include findings of fact, did not conduct a trial on the merits, and did not determine the truth or falsity of the underlying allegations raised by GGAA. The Court's order neither validated nor rejected the underlying allegations asserted by any party.

Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas Congratulates Newly Elected UNICCO Leadership Following Historic Elections

The National Administration of the Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas (GGAA), under the leadership of Madam Edith Taryennoh Poah, extends heartfelt congratulations to Madam Nensah Siaway McCabe and Dr. Nya Vululleh, President-Elect and Vice President-Elect of the United Nimba Citizens Council (UNICCO), along with the newly elected corps of officers, on their historic victory during the organization’s recently concluded general elections held in Des Moines, Iowa.

The GGAA National Administration recognizes the election of Madam McCabe and her leadership team as a significant milestone in strengthening democratic values, promoting unity, and sustaining the longstanding partnership between UNICCO and GGAA — a relationship that continues to positively impact members of both organizations in the United States and Liberia.

The GGAA further notes with optimism that, given the longstanding ties of friendship, cooperation, and mutual respect between the two sister organizations, the McCabe–Vululleh Administration can count on the support and collaboration of the Poah–Nyenaweh Administration in advancing initiatives that empower our communities and contribute to the development of our counties and people.

GGAA Welcomes Grand Gedeh University Board's Approval of 10 Additional Acres for Multipurpose Park Project

Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County, Liberia — March 26, 2026

The Grand Gedeh Association (GGAA) welcomes the Grand Gedeh University Board of Trustees' approval of an additional 10 acres of land for the GGAA Multipurpose Park Project in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County, bringing the total land donated to 15 acres.

The approval, under the signature of Chief/Dr. William D. Towah, was communicated to GGAA National President, Madam Edith Poah, on March 20, 2026, following a request for additional land to ensure adequate space for the project's design and implementation.

In a statement, Madam Poah said this contribution marks a significant milestone in advancing GGAA's vision to establish a vibrant and inclusive space for recreation, youth engagement, cultural activities, and community development. The GGAA Multi-Purpose Park will serve as a unifying hub, fostering wellness, social interaction, and economic opportunities.

GGAA extends its appreciation to the Grand Gedeh University leadership for their collaboration and dedication to community advancement.
