Our Voter Champion partnership with the School District of Philadelphia netted a 93% increase in voter registration by public high school students this school year, from 15% to 29%! There’s still a lot of work to do—especially in our neighborhood schools, but let’s celebrate our wins!!!

• 1,102 Philly student voter registrations confirmed through the PA Youth Vote portal and by Voter Champion reporting.
• 7 district schools won the PA Department of State's Governor’s Civic Engagement Award with over 65% registration rates.
• 12 schools registered more than 50% of eligible voters.

To kick off Pride Month, Regina attended the Annual Gender Inclusive School Summit on May 26th 🌈

The event created a safe and empowering space for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies to connect, learn, and celebrate who they are. Throughout the summit, students and staff engaged in conversations centered on acceptance, respect, and creating more inclusive school communities.

It was inspiring to see young people come together in a space where every teen felt seen, heard, and supported. 💛

On May 6th, students gathered in Harrisburg for Advocacy Day to engage directly with representatives and advocate for adequate school funding for all students 📢

Throughout the day, participants took part in voter education and engagement presentations, attended a march and rally, toured the Capitol, and connected with others through networking and community conversations.

It was an empowering experience that gave students the opportunity to speak up on issues impacting their education and make their voices heard.🗣️

On May 8th, we attended the AFL-CIO Union Experience Fair at Kensington High School for the Creative and Performing Arts 🙌🏽

Students got creative by designing buttons centered around issues they’re passionate about and imagining future headlines they hope to see one day 📰✨

The event encouraged students to think about their voices, their futures, and the impact they can have in their communities through creativity, advocacy, and civic engagement.

On April 16th, 2026, we partnered with , , and other community organizations to host the PA 3rd Congressional District Candidates Forum 🗳️

The event created space for community members to hear directly from candidates, learn more about the issues, and engage in important conversations ahead of the election.
