Last evening, AIS welcomed Off The Beaten Cask’s Stephen Decina for our Wines of Tuscany Tasting Class! Stephen guided attendees through discovering the real w**es of Tuscany that exist beyond the straw baskets of Chianti many Americans are familiar with.

This was our third collaborative w**e tasting with Off The Beaten Cask, and it is safe to say it was even better than the last!

Last evening we welcomed Corrado Rovaris, Music Director of Opera Philadelphia, for a fascinating discussion of his work and the process of producing an opera.

ITALIA È MODA

From daywear to sportswear to eveningwear, Italy is the heart of the fashion industry.

On Monday, Elisa and Mackenzie joined curator Clara Tosi Pamphili for a guided tour of the exhibition ITALIA È MODA, where two authentic costumes from Federico Fellini’s Casanova are on display.

Visit ITALIA È MODA at Drexel University’s Main Building from September 14th to 26th. Be sure to check out the Nova Arca installations while you’re there to learn more about the pieces, artisans, techniques and houses in the exhibition.
