Вищий понад усі висоти Господь, Ти витерпів тілесне добровільне піднесення на Хресті, щоби простяганням чистих рук Своїх підняти всіх до Себе! Ти воздвиженням Твого упокорення возвеличив природу нашу, що упала через марну гординю і аж до аду зійшла. Ти Воздвиженням Чесного Хреста Твого звіщаєш перемогу над смертю і дбаєш про відновлення роду нашого від давнього упадку. Не знехтуй і тепер моліннями нашими, якими благали і благаємо милосердя Твоє, але, як Милостивий, помилуй нас і даруй нам могутній захист супроти всякої душогубної сили невидимих зміїв. Вчини і нам так, як колись Ти дарував Ізраїльтянам, укушеним зміями, зцілення через звернення їхнього погляду до мідного змія, піднятого Мойсеєм. Присмири гріх, що бере верх над нами, і підведи нас мужністю супроти нього. І як колись хрестоподібним піднесенням Мойсеєвих рук Ти перемогу над Амаликом дарував, так і всяку силу, що виступає проти Церкви Твоєї, зруйнуй, і всякі уста, що поширюють хулу проти Тебе, загороди, і всяке серце, затьмарене незнанням, просвіти, і збережи розум наш від думок, що віддаляють від Тебе, аби ми, возносячись через небесне і блаженне споглядання Твого промислу, осягнули назавжди вічну і правдиву висоту єднання з Тобою і насолоджувалися Царством Твоїм. Ти бо і Вишній, і Нижній, і все наповнюєш, і Тобі славу возсилаємо, Отцю і Сину, і Святому Духові, нині і повсякчас і на віки віків. Амінь.

Lord, High above all heights, You endured voluntary bodily elevation upon the Cross, so that by stretching out Your pure hands, You might draw all people to Yourself! By the exaltation of Your humility, You elevated our human nature, which had fallen through vain pride and descended even unto hell. By the Exaltation of Your Precious Cross, You proclaim victory over death and provide for the restoration of our race from its ancient fall. Do not disdain our supplications now, with which we have implored and continue to implore Your mercy, but as the Merciful One, have mercy on us and grant us a mighty protection against every soul-destroying power of the unseen serpents. Do for us as You once granted to the Israelites bitten by serpents: healing through the turning of their gaze toward the bronze serpent raised by Moses. Subdue the sin that gains mastery over us, and raise us up with courage against it. And as You once granted victory over Amalek through the cross-wise lifting of Moses’ hands, so destroy every power that rises up against Your Church, silence every mouth that spreads blasphemy against You, enlighten every heart darkened by ignorance, and preserve our minds from thoughts that alienate us from You—so that, being elevated through heavenly and blessed contemplation of Your providence, we may forever attain the eternal and true height of union with You and enjoy Your Kingdom. For You are both Higher and Lower, and You fill all things, and to You we ascribe glory: to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
