Rosebuds Mentoring Program

Rosebuds Mentoring Program R.O.S.E.B.U.D.S. (Realizing Our Strength and Excellence By Understanding our Destined Success) is a mentoring program for girls ages 7-18.

Mentoring Program (Realizing Our Strength and Excellence By Understanding Our Destined Success) was founded in 2001 while Author, Charlotte Marshall-Murray was working at Simon Gratz High School as a teen parent counselor. She found that our young girls needed a forum where they could speak openly about issues affecting them. Since then numerous girls have gone through the program and now are succ

essful in their chosen fields. ROSEBUDS discuss issues such as health and nutrition, bullying, healthy relationships, college awareness, goal planning, budgeting, self-esteem awareness and an array of other topics. These topics are discussed in workshop form or through role playing. In conjunction to workshops we are also involved with community service projects. This teaches our girls the importance of giving back.

We are hosting our third annual and first ever three-day Domestic Violence Conference on the dates October 16th, 17th, and 18th, 2026. This yearโ€™s theme is โ€œAwareness, Action & Advocacy: Celebrating Survivors & Remembering Those Lostโ€.

During the course of this three day event, we will have workshops and guest speakers who will speak about the levels and impact of domestic violence throughout the young population and advocate methods and solutions to ensure healthy relationships. We hope for it to be an insightful, engaging, and eye-opening event.

Currently, we are looking for sponsors to help us make this event as special as possible. Your sponsorship, big or small, will help us secure a venue, speakers, and materials which will go a long way in our effort to keep our youth from becoming domestic violence statistics. Can we count on you to help us reach our goal? We are grateful for your consideration and hope you are able to contribute towards our $10,000 goal.

Email us if you'd like to contribute! ๐Ÿ’œ
