Yesterday, our middle school rowers and coaches celebrated their first Saturday practice of the fall with PHILLY PRIDE DAY! 🦅

It was also the first Saturday of the season for our high school novice rowers, making it the first weekend this fall with varsity, novice, and middle school student-athletes all coming through the PCR boatyard.

After a full first week of rowing, we hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing Sunday before the Eagles kick off their season this afternoon.

A new group of PCR rowers has arrived at #1 Boathouse Row! 😎

Our middle school program kicked off this week, welcoming many new participants for the fall season. Over the next several weeks, our middle schoolers will spend plenty of time on the Schuylkill, and for many, that means taking some of their very first strokes on the water. They also have an awesome group of coaches leading the way, including multiple PCR alumni who have returned to coach the next generation of PCR student-athletes.

We’re also adding a little extra fun to practices this season! Throughout the fall, our middle school program will have different spirit days, with new themes revealed each week.

First up: Crazy Sock Day! 🧦 Our coaches and middle schoolers came prepared.

Be sure to check back each week to see the next round of spirit days and follow along throughout the fall!
