GlobalPhilly

GlobalPhilly GlobalPhilly Supports the Global Philadelphia Association, global member events and Heritage stories.

We are excited to announce the fourth GlobalPhilly Expo, which will be held September 1 - October 15, 2019. GlobalPhilly is greater Philadelphia's public exposition, designed to show the international activity of our residents and the global reach of Philadelphia and the surrounding region. During the 45 days of the exposition, we promote programs, workshops, tours, specialty events, and more on b

ehalf of our members to highlight the contribution that their organizations make to our city’s global fabric. Now in its fourth iteration, with over 100,000 people who attended in 2017, this is an excellent forum to enhance Philadelphia’s impact locally and around the world:

- Shine a light on and build upon our cultural resources
- Celebrate our diverse ethnic backgrounds
- Help attract business and investment opportunities
- Bring international visitors and foreign students into the region

This year’s Expo will include a focus on “Philadelphia’s Medical Heritage,” in addition to a variety of other global topics and themes that represent the work done by GPA members.

Click the link in bio to read our regular blog post, Notes from the Reading Room, and learn more about the Rosenbach’s manuscript on the life and adventures of Manjiro.
