ODS 11: Ciudades y comunidades sostenibles

Philadelphia’s passion knows no borders, even across the pond! 🦅🇬🇧

As the Global Philadelphia Association, we love seeing our World Heritage City represented on the global stage. We are proud to champion our city’s international connections every day, but especially when the Birds take the world stage this Sunday!

The Eagles truly embody a global footprint, anchored on the offensive line by Australia’s own All-Pro tackle, Jordan Mailata, alongside a growing pipeline of elite international talent like IPP standout uar bernard. They prove that incredible talent can come from anywhere in the world to fly with Philly. 🦅🌍

Let’s show the world how the Eagles fly!

2026 Nobel Prize is announced.

The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to the South African legal pioneer Navanethem “Navi” Pillay for defending international law and institutions from attack in a world where “might overtakes right.”

Pillay, 85, has a decadeslong career that spans defending Nelson Mandela and standing up against the racist apartheid regime in South Africa, to leading a United Nations commission that concluded Israel committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

“Being a lawyer and a judge, I still want to verify this information,” Pillay says jokingly, having just heard the news.
