Interested in building, designing, creating, and solving real-world problems? The Pensacola High School Engineering Team may be the place for you.

The Engineering Team meets every Wednesday in Room 241 and is open to any student. There are no dues to join.

Students work together on hands-on engineering challenges, design projects, problem solving, building, testing, and improving their ideas. Members also have the opportunity to participate in competitions such as BEST Robotics and Electrathon.

No previous engineering experience is required. If you enjoy figuring out how things work, building things, working with a team, or just want to try something new, come check it out.

The next meeting is Wednesday, September 9.

Looking for a creative place to get involved at Pensacola High School? Check out the Photography Club (f/64)!

The club meets every Tuesday in Room 914 in L Building and is open to ANY student — no experience required and no dues to join.

Members get the chance to take photos, learn how to work in the darkroom, print their own photography, and have plenty of creative freedom to explore their own ideas. Snacks are often provided, too!

One of the biggest highlights of the year is a planned photography trip to New Orleans in the spring.

The club is also currently looking for students who are ready to step up and help lead!

We’re joining the National Parent Teacher Association in celebrating the educators who make our schools sweeter, and Pensacola High School PTSA is proud to recognize Heather Horn, PHS Media Specialist and SGA Sponsor.

Mrs. Horn is involved in nearly every corner of our school community. She supports students, shows up for spirit nights and school events, stays late to help PTSA prepare the Media Center for meetings, and makes sure we have the technology and support we need. She gives so much of her time and energy to Pensacola High School, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she does. ❤️💛🐯
