⚾️ We kicked off our summer Choose Your Story gatherings at the Blue Wahoos Stadium! We can’t think of a better way to spend a summer evening than being surrounded by teens trying new experiences and discovering positive ways to spend their summer evenings.

Through great pain came a vision for change.
The drive to turn something that once felt impossible into reality.

Hope Above Fear envisions a community where every young person feels supported, empowered, and seen.

Our diversion program is more than a second chance. It’s an opportunity for connection, growth, accountability, and the chance to choose a different path forward.

There are moments when the vision feels bigger than the resources, the obstacles feel overwhelming, and the work feels heavy. But meaningful change happens by continuing to show up, building relationships, and walking forward even when you can’t see the entire staircase.

Today marks another step forward.

We are incredibly grateful to officially continue our partnership with the Escambia County Public Schools, expanding from a pilot program to providing prevention, education, and early intervention services for ALL high schools.

When a community chooses to unite, listen, and believe in the potential of every young person, lasting change becomes possible.

A huge thank you to Gina Boyleston-Delgado and everyone who participated in this year’s Mitch Madness bracket challenge in memory of Mitch Delgado. Forever 30. 🏀

Because of your generosity and support, $1,300 was donated to Hope Above Fear to help us continue providing prevention, education, and support to youth and families throughout our community.

What began as a way to honor Mitch’s life has continued to create impact and hope for others. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who filled out a bracket, shared the fundraiser, donated, and helped keep Mitch’s memory alive in such a meaningful way.
