Captains For Kids coordinates a FREE fun day on the water for kids with special needs and illnesses with professional captains/crews/businesses that provide: sailing excursions, dolphin cruises and pirate cruises. Most events have space for the parents and sometimes a sibling or two to tag along. All activities are free of charge. Seats are first come, first served.

Locations
We have different activities at many different beach locations and marinas in St. Pete Beach, Orange Beach, Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola Beach, and Florida Keys.

Don't know anyone who would love this event? They are always looking for volunteers & sponsorship in lieu of monetary donations.

What a joyful afternoon as we officially installed our dedicated new leadership team for the 2026-2027 year!
These incredible volunteers are stepping up with hearts full of service and a passion for making a difference in our Pensacola community. From supporting BrainMinders programs and helping our seniors, to fundraising for community needs — we know this team will continue the Pilot Club tradition of “Service with a Smile.”

June Birthday 🎂 !
Pilot Club of Pensacola Brings the Birthday Joy to The Arc Gateway! 🎉
Once again, our amazing Pilot Club members showed up with big smiles, gifts, cards, cake, and fresh fruit to celebrate the senior clients at The Arc Gateway’s monthly birthday party!
We helped open presents, sang “Happy Birthday” at the top of our lungs (some of us slightly off-key, but full of heart ❤️), and shared lots of laughter and love with these wonderful seniors.
It’s a tradition we cherish — spreading joy to those who deserve it most. Nothing beats seeing those bright smiles light up the room!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to The Arc Gateway team for all they do. Who else wants to come celebrate with us next month?

The Pilot Club of Pensacola’s Charity Luncheon was a huge success thanks to the amazing support of our community!
We are thrilled to announce that we raised and donated $13,000 to local charities right here in Pensacola! 💛💚
These funds will help support our ongoing work in youth programs, brain safety & health initiatives, caring for those in need, and so many other vital community projects.

Pilot Club of Pensacola members at The Arc Gateway May birthday 🎂 party !
Yes 😍 — the Pilot Club of Pensacola has been volunteering for years at The Arc Gateway’s monthly birthday celebrations for senior clients and residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They bring gifts, cards, cake, fruit, and big smiles, helping everyone open presents, sing “Happy Birthday,” and enjoy the party together. It’s a heartfelt, ongoing community tradition at the center in Pensacola 😍
