Five Flags Amateur Radio Association (W4UC) — Founded in 1969, serving the Pensacola area with amateur radio education, public service, emergency communications (ARES®), community outreach, Field Day operations, and fellowship for all experience levels.

The Five Flags Amateur Radio Association is excited to announce updated plans for ARRL Field Day 2026, one of the biggest amateur radio events of the year and a great opportunity to practice emergency communications, test equipment, operate in the field, and introduce the public to amateur radio.

ARRL Field Day 2026 will be held June 27–28, 2026. Field Day is always held on the fourth full weekend in June, beginning at 1800 UTC Saturday and running through 2059 UTC Sunday.

Event Location
This year, FFARA Field Day activities will be held at:

Escambia County Emergency Operations Center
6575 North W Street
Pensacola, FL 32505

This event is open to the public, and everyone of all ages is welcome. Whether you are a licensed amateur radio operator, interested in emergency communications, curious about radio, or just looking for a family-friendly community event, we invite you to stop by and see amateur radio in action.

Thank you to all the Amateur Radio Operators that came out for the Escambia County Commissioners meeting for the Amateur Radio Proclamation Ceremony.

Thank you Escambia County for taking the time to recognize Amateur Radio, and we hope that everyone can join us at our 2026 Amateur Radio Field Day event. June 27th, 2026 at the Escambia County Emergency Operations Center.
