This weekend, we were out out doing what we do best—connecting. 💬

We had meaningful conversations door-to-door across Peekskill, asking what matters to folks right now.

But our work didn’t stop at the doors! We also joined an event with our local partners. Slowing down, sharing a meal, and spending time together reminds us that community-building is what it's all about. Change doesn’t happen in isolation. 🌱

Deep canvassing starts with listening. 💬

In a world where "conversation" so often means scoring points in an argument, deep canvassing has a different goal: real human connection. It’s about showing up with curiosity, sharing our stories honestly, and making space for others to share theirs.

When people feel heard, they remember that their experiences, values, and voices matter. Deep canvassing builds trust, strengthens communities, and inspires people to get involved. Research also shows it can increase voter turnout and e long-term civic engagement—not through pressure, but through empathy and connection.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to cancel this weekend's canvass.

Last Saturday, Canvassing Connectors was proud to attend—and co-sponsor — the NO KINGS rally in Tarrytown.

Neighbors, organizers, and advocates stood up for democracy and accountability. The energy on the stage and in the crowd reminded us all what’s possible when we show up together.
