The City of Peekskill PBA would like to wish Dr. John McGurty a happy retirement! John will be missed by both the members of our department as well as the community. John could often be spotted running with his dog throughout the city every morning with a smile on his face, or responding directly to a scene where a citizen needs emergency medical assistance.

In addition to his work at our local Hudson Valley Hospital, John served our department as a police surgeon. We are extremely appreciative of the great work he has done for both our agency and the community.

Thank You John and best of luck in your future endeavors!
