NAACP-Peekskill area Chapter Upholding the Mission Statement of the NAACP, we are the Peekskill area chapter of the NAACP and invite you to invest in your community.

The Peekskill area (including areas in an approximate 10-50 mile area) is in need of a change. This change is not to create barriers but to create more connections to allow positive change that allows our multicultural and diverse community a voice for promoting justice and peace. You may not see any injustices or unrest, but it exists and we must make sure that we keep this community peaceful de

spite the seen and unseen issues that exists. If you want to keep our diverse community harmonious and without an uprising of dissension, this is the place to be...join in this movement and let those nay-sayers know that we are of 1 mind...a peaceful and upward mobile community that wants the same as everyone else...happy life and no strife!!!

Start your day at 11 a.m. in Cortlandt and then scoot on over to Peekskill that starts their program at 1 p.m. -- 2 Places in CLOSE proximity that you can get to in order to celebrate FREEDOM!
