See you in a few weeks for Sushi Night (details TBA) 🍣 🍱

Club Nippon Field Trip to Chicago 🤩🗺️
Students took an all-day field trip to Arlington Heights, IL & Chicago, IL today to learn about Japanese food ways, culture, and marketing. We shopped at Mitsuwa Marketplace, grabbed some food in the food court, and headed to a workshop!
Hosted by Sae Iino from Japan Outreach Initiative (JOI), her workshop focused on Japanese v American food ways, marketing tactics, and even history about the Japanese diaspora in Chicago, IL! Students made digital memory boards and enjoyed Chicken Teriyaki for lunch with our workshop host 😋
We ended the day with some shopping and eating around Chinatown, Chicago. What a day!!
Thank you again for everyone who made our trip a success; UW-Oshkosh faculty & staff, RSO staff, Club Nippon advisors & officers, Iino-san, students, and of course, our talented friends from Lamers Bus—THANK YOU!
