Come join us for volunteer opportunities!! We have the blood drive in December, and our holiday mail for hero’s in December that we need people to sign up for! We also have information about the puppy kisses and our Christmas party next month!!

Hello everyone!! It's that time of the month again, time for our monthly meeting!!
When: Wednesday October 11th 2017
Where: Reeve room 209
What Time: 6:30
You DON'T want to miss this meeting! We will be going over more volunteer opportunities and we will have food!! One specific event we will be talking about is puppy kisses for $1.00! The money we raise will go to the American Red Cross foundation to help with hurricane relief. Anyone who is planning on attending, please bring markers and your creativity to help make posters for this event! For everyone who attends, we will have pizza!! Please make sure you respond to Ali Sommerfeldt's email, or comment on this post, sharing your fav pizza topping so we can plan accordingly. See you all at the meeting on Wednesday! 😊

P.s: Don't forget to bring laptops for volunteer connection signup!

If you are looking for volunteer opportunities, you won't want to miss this meeting! We have Lambeau field volunteer opportunities, blood drive opportunities here on campus, and a Hurricane Harvey fundraising event!

We have lots planned to kick off the semester! Hope to see lots of old and new faces :)

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful summer and loving the beautiful sunshine! I want to send a thank you out for all that you do and recap some of the many things we have done at Red Cross!

This past year, we:
-Promoted our club at Taste of Oshkosh
-Attracted new members and increased our club's profile through social events such as the Ice Cream Social, movie showing, and Christmas party
-Had a Disaster Services volunteer come speak about his experiences during deployments
-Volunteered at Spooktacular at Lambeau Field
-Volunteered at the Halloween Kid's Carnival on October 31st - had a ball toss game and gave away Halloween rubber duckies to the kids
-Made cards for Holiday Mail for Heroes, which were donated to veterans and service men and women stateside and overseas
-Made and sold baked goods during finals week to raise money for the Measles and Rubella campaign where we were able to help vaccinate dozens of people in third world countries.
-Volunteered at Project Play 60 at Lambeau Field
-Attended and and supported the on-campus Student Health Advisory Committee to help to work toward a tobacco-free campus policy change.
-Hats for Hope - We bought looms and yarn and knit 27 baby hats that nurses will deliver to babies in Africa to prevent hypothermia and cold stress, the number one cause of neonatal death in Africa. This project will be continued in the years to come.
-Increased our donations at blood drives, with our beginning of semester February blood drive resulting in 42 units of blood donated, which was double our goal
-Became more actively engaged with social media
-Our club was recognized by the Wisconsin Region Volunteer Specialist as being the model club of the state with all of our hard work and organization!
-Elected a new exec board with many great ideas for next year's club!

Thank you for all that you do and I hope you enjoy a much needed summer break!

The American Red Cross Club will be holding elections to join the 2017-2018 exec board on Monday, April 24th at 6pm in Swart room 14. This will also be our end of the year party - there will be cookie cake and juice provided!

Hi American Red Cross Club members!

The American Red Cross Club will be holding elections to join the 2017-2018 exec board on Monday, April 24th at 6pm. This will also be our end of the year party - there will be cookie cake and juice provided!

All positions are open to anybody! Several members of the current board are graduating and would LOVE for you to join a wonderful team and make a difference in the community, while having fun! The election process is easy - just come ready to tell us why you would be a great candidate for the position!

Available Board positions are: President, Budget Manager, Secretary, Blood Services Chair, Fundraising Chair, Public Affairs Chair, Service to Armed Forces Chair, Education Chair, and Campus Initiatives/OSA Rep.

Also, if anyone has any looms or baby hats that they made for our donation to Africa, please bring them to the meeting so I can collect them and ship them!
