Autism Society of Greater Orlando ASGO ASGO was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteer parents to better assist families of children and adults with autism in the Central Florida area.

The interaction between the first responders and those on the autism spectrum is critical to our training class. Today ASGO is in Deltona to present their first Autism Awareness Training for EMS/Firefighters. We will hold two four hour trainings today with another four classes in the coming weeks. We are excited to be partnering with the Deltona Fire Department on bringing this vital training to their agency. Thank you Deltona for your partnership and commitment to the autism community.

Another Tuesday….another training with the Winter Springs Police Department. Today was 3 out of the 4 training days scheduled. Next Tuesday will be our last training with 100% of their officers receiving Autism Awareness Training for Law Enforcement Officers from ASGO. We are so proud of our partnership with the Winter Springs Police Department.
