A new resource to help keep classrooms fully staffed! 🤗

The Early Learning Coalition of Orange County is partnering with Tandem - Child Care Staffing, a platform that connects childcare centers with qualified substitute teachers when they need them most.

While participating providers will pay the substitute staff they hire, ELCOC will cover the annual Tandem subscription fee.

This tool will make it easier for childcare centers to access reliable staffing support while staying focused on serving children and families.

At the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County, we work every day to ensure all children have access to high-quality early education and enter kindergarten ready to thrive.

The first 2️⃣ 0️⃣ 0️⃣ 0️⃣ days of a child’s life are critical to their development, with 85% of brain growth occurring before they even reach kindergarten. That's why investing in early learning matters so much.

We are honored to be part of each child’s educational journey and to celebrate this important milestone alongside our families and providers.

ELCOC CEO Dr. Scott Fritz presented the award 🏆 during the Teacher of the Year Celebration Breakfast held at ELCOC Headquarters on Tuesday, June 2nd.

Along with a personalized plaque, Jairo, affectionately known as Mr. J, received a $1,000 cash prize generously donated by the
Orlando Magic. 🏀💙

The Early Learning Coalition of Orange County selected Jairo Toribio from a group of 28 exceptional educators who were honored throughout the year as ELCOC Teachers of the Month.

All Teacher of the Month nominees also received a crystal trophy engraved with their name in recognition of their outstanding contributions to early childhood education.

Thank you to the hundreds of families who joined us Saturday at the Grand Avenue Neighborhood Center in Orlando.

Families enjoyed interactive, safari-themed learning activities designed to support early childhood development, and each family received a take-home bag filled with resources to encourage learning all summer long.
