As the winter months approach, Pastor Bill Schwartz and the rest of our team serving in Ukraine would like to remind you of a giving opportunity that will help keep an entire community warm and fed in a season that is forecasting treachery.
Here’s a short word from Pastor Bill:
Our IPHC brothers and sisters in Ukraine are resilient people. Since the war began in 2022, heir churches have courageously loved those who are suffering by providing clothing, meals, generators, and power banks. They have also continued proclaiming the gospel and planting churches.
This past year, they offered emotional health training for Ukrainian pastors and developed a chaplaincy program to equip leaders for these difficult times. Many of these leaders sleep in underground garages and other safe places to avoid ongoing attacks on Kyiv.
As winter approaches, they need our partnership. Forecasts predict extreme cold, and attacks on the energy system make power unreliable. Our team in Ukraine already delivers supplies weekly and provides generators to local churches and city halls. This winter, those churches will open their doors so people can find warmth and refuge.
We are trusting God for funds for fuel, additional generators, meals, and clothing. Will you partner with us? Every act of love opens the door to share the gospel.
To give, please designate your gift to Project 41502P - Ukraine Emergency Relief through World Missions Ministries: https://give.iphc.org/project/ukraine-emergency-relief
Thank you for caring for these precious people.
