Hope, Alva (NW OK)
• Hope connected with hundreds at the Woods County Fair and shared about the ministry.
• Staff hosted 30 NWOSU resident assistants for a meal and equipped them to share about Hope with students.
• After the director shared with Ranger Connection classes, four women came to Hope for services.

Hope, Ardmore
• A woman who was pressured to take abortion pills chose to parent after seeing her baby during an ultrasound.
• A young woman accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior after the gospel was shared during her appointment!
• Hope was blessed by a generous love offering from the Johnston-Marshall Baptist Association WMU.
• Hope represented the ministry at the Revive Gathering hosted by the North American Mission Board.

Hope, North OKC
• After receiving pregnancy options information and seeing her baby on ultrasound, a Spanish-speaking woman chose to parent.
• Hope shared about the sanctity of human life and fetal development with students at Kings Gate Christian School.
• Staff connected with hundreds at Founder’s Day in Piedmont.
• Putnam City Baptist Church hosted an Empowered Parenting dinner and graduation.

Hope, Shawnee
• Hope shared about the ministry at State Pentecostal Church of God’s Women’s Retreat.
• Project Safe’s director spoke at the Lunch and Learn about domestic abuse prevention.
• Hope celebrated an Empowered Parenting graduation.

Hope, Tulsa
• Hope hosted Connect Hope with Church 34/34, helping Empowered Parenting families connect with local church members.
• The Partners for Hope event brought together supporters to celebrate what God is doing through Hope.

Patty Ann Mobile Unit
• The mobile ministry director and Hope, Edmond director were featured on the Baptist Messenger podcast.
• Staff connected with community organizations to learn more about resources for local families.
• The team shared about the mobile ministry with school counselors at the Oklahoma School Counselor Association Fall Conference.
• A mom who was considering abortion when she visited the mobile unit welcomed a baby boy! The couple completed Empowered Parenting classes and is now parenting together.

Your generosity can make a lasting difference for children and families across Oklahoma.

If you are 70½ or older and have an IRA, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) may be a meaningful way to support Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children. In 2026, individuals may make QCD gifts of up to $111,000, and qualifying gifts may count toward your Required Minimum Distribution.

Your QCD can help provide safe homes, strengthen families, offer hope to women facing unexpected pregnancies, and share the love of Christ.

To make a QCD gift, provide OBHC’s Federal Tax ID #73-1435473 to your financial advisor. Checks should be made payable to Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children and mailed directly to our office.

QCD gifts must be completed by December 31 to count for the 2026 tax year.

Sometimes, the story of where a child begins is a powerful reminder of how far they can go.

One young woman who spent time at Baptist Home for Girls came from a difficult season of poverty. Today, she is a college student studying computer science, serving in her church and pursuing the future God has placed before her.

During her time at Baptist Home for Girls, she graduated high school with honors while excelling in Ag Mechanics & Engineering competitions, competing in wrestling and weightlifting, and leading her senior FFA Parli-Pro team to a state-level victory.

When asked what helped her most during her time at Baptist Home for Girls, her answer was simple: “Having people around me that are loving and supportive.”

That support gave her opportunities to discover her strengths, develop her skills and grow in her faith.

Her story is a reminder that your generosity is more than providing for a school year—it helps create opportunities that can shape a child’s future.

GOOD NEWS | Baptist Children's Home 🩵

• The 2026 Back-to-School Event had a wonderful turnout! A child and a mom shared testimonies and gave God the glory for what He is doing in their lives. 🙌
• One of the cottages received handmade pillowcases, and each child chose one that matched their personality and favorite color.
• The girls enjoyed back-to-school haircuts and a trip to Bass Pro.
• The children are settling into their new routines after a great first day of school.
• A young lady was baptized at Central Baptist Church!
• The campus celebrated August birthdays with a fun, campus-wide party. 🎂
• Campus moms learned basic car maintenance, including how to check oil and tire pressure and save money on repairs. 🚗
• A mom and baby used their boutique points to purchase matching boots.
• Two young men will be playing trombone in the band this year!

The 42nd Boys Ranch Town Rodeo was a success! 🤠

Thank you to everyone who came out to support Boys Ranch Town and make this year’s rodeo a great one! We loved watching the boys compete and seeing residents from Baptist Home for Girls and Baptist Children’s Home join in on the action and enjoy the fun.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s rodeo possible. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Hope, Alva (NW OK)
• Hope connected with Northwestern Oklahoma State University students during freshman orientation and provided goody bags to students.
• We’re encouraged to see dads attending Empowered Parenting classes on their own when needed.

Hope, Ardmore
• A woman who was unsure about continuing her pregnancy saw her twins during an ultrasound and chose to parent. She is now attending Empowered Parenting and has accepted a Bible. 💙
• The Moppetts from First Baptist Church, Thackerville, generously donated baby clothes, diapers, wipes and more.
• Several new clients enrolled in Empowered Parenting!
• First Baptist Church, Turpin selected Hope as the recipient of its VBS offering.
• Mary Niblack Road Baptist Church hosted a Community Night for Hope families.

Hope, Edmond
• A woman who came to Hope planning to abort saw her baby during an ultrasound and decided to parent. 💙
• Hope connected with more than 400 students during UCO Welcome Week.
• Two women found healing from previous abortions through Forgiven and Set Free.

Hope, North OKC
• After her ultrasound, a patient was found outside on her knees, thanking God for His goodness. 🙏
• Hope shared with young women at the Juvenile Detention Center about fetal development and abortion pill risks.
• Staff connected with students at Rose State College and shared resources and the gospel.
• A former supporter returned to Hope and was encouraged to see how the center continues serving families.

Hope, Shawnee
• Hope connected with the community at several local events, sharing about the ministry and resources available to families.

Hope, South OKC
• Hope connected with students at OU’s SovalPalooza and families at Life.Church’s Back-to-School Resource Fair.
• Empowered Parenting welcomed guest speakers who shared about birth, postpartum care and insurance benefits.
• Eight volunteers attended the quarterly Volunteer Lunch and Learn.
• Frontline Church brought a large group to Hope for service projects. 💙

Hope, Tulsa
• Five women and one man made decisions to follow Christ, including five salvations in one week! 🙌
• Hope welcomed a new partnership with 34/34 Church to support families.
• Two fathers attended a BetterMan evening and participated in meaningful conversations about fatherhood.
• Hope connected with students at Rogers State University’s Big Tent Day.

• The team hosted its first pastors’ lunch at Sooner Baptist Church in Midwest City.
• The mobile team connected with OSU-OKC and Rose State College students and staff.
