Voting is more than a civic duty, it’s a celebration of our community’s power! Too often, voting feels like standing in a long, draining DMV line. It doesn’t have to feel that way, and nor should it!
Our grandparents and great-grandparents organized and fought for the right to vote. We are not long removed from a time when Black and Brown people were denied the right to vote, and unfortunately, the voting rights our people died for are being chipped away every day. We refuse that reality. WE choose to show up with intention, pride, in community, and with joy.

Votar es más que un deber cívico, ¡es una celebración del poder de nuestra comunidad! Con demasiada frecuencia, votar se siente como hacer una larga y agotadora fila en una oficina del DMV. ¡No tiene que ser así y tampoco tiene que serlo!
Nuestros abuelos y bisabuelos se organizaron y lucharon por el derecho a votar. Hace no tanto tiempo vivíamos en una época en la que a las personas afroamericanas y morenas se les negaba el derecho a votar y, lamentablemente, los derechos electorales por los que nuestra gente dio la vida están siendo erosionados todos los días. Nos rehusamos a aceptar esta realidad. NOSOTROS vamos a optar por participar con determinación, orgullo, en comunidad y con alegría.
