Street Level Health Project

Street Level Health Project Street Level Health Project offers free health and social services to promote the health and wellness of low-income immigrant communities.

Street Level Health Project develops trusting relationships with isolated immigrants, offers them a place to build a healthy and vibrant community, and empowers them to advocate for the wellbeing of themselves and their families. We bring health care to the uninsured community through our free health screening clinic and patient health navigation program. We provide temporary assistance for those

with basic needs in food, clothing, and social support. We address the root causes of poor health by supporting low-wage immigrant workers to be active participants in their lives, their families, and their communities. We tackle institutional and systemic barriers to health equity through advocacy and coalition building with organizations committed to building power for disenfranchised communities.

The Health Access Program (HAP) at Street Level Health Project offers community-centered care rooted in dignity, trust, and whole-person wellness.

Through our culturally responsive, trauma-informed 'Whole Person Care’ model, HAP supports clients’ physical and emotional well-being. As a collaborative and integrative team, we work to treat and prevent chronic and acute conditions. Our patient-centered care is rooted in a holistic approach that includes: Western medicine, mental health support, wellness services... and resources aimed at the social determinants of health, including our weekly food program.

Our work is grounded in a simple belief: everyone deserves to be cared for with respect, without barriers, and in ways that reflect their lived experience.

This video highlights the spirit of HAP and the relationships that make this work possible.

Today is International Workers Day. We continue to come out to the streets each year and demand justice for immigrant communities and all workers. 20 years ago, 2006 we saw some of the biggest marches against HR 4437 where all communities organized as a united front. Today and everyday it has become imperative that we not only show up for one rally, one action but show true solidarity with all immigrant communities. We ask you to not just commit showing up to today's rally but to committ showing up every day for your neighbors in whatever way you can.

See you today in the streets!

🚨ACTION ALERT TO DEFEND OUR COMMUNITIES🚨 Join us this Tuesday, January 27 at 3:30 PM at the Alameda County Board of Supervisors meeting (1221 Oak St., 5th Floor) to support two critical measures to protect our immigrant neighbors from ICE:
1. An Immigration Enforcement Response Plan for rapid, coordinated action.
2. ICE-FREE ZONES policy to protect our hospitals, services, and public spaces from enforcement.
Alameda County urgently needs a clear, proactive plan for responding to the increased immigration enforcement activities harming and terrorizing our residents. Our communities must have access to safe spaces, and county-owned and county-controlled properties must not become sites for immigration enforcement.
Join us in person or online to make your voices heard and defend our community – every voice has an impact! ✊🏾

🚨Calling on all East Bay & Bay Area people! Show up and stand against ICE terror🚨
Take action in solidarity with Minnesota by pressuring corporate colluders Home Depot and Target to take a stand against ICE terror. TOMORROW, January 27th, at 6pm at Huichin Park in Emeryville, join community groups and indigenous leaders in declaring ICE OUT of MNI SÓTA MAKÓČE! No one is illegal on stolen land!
Why Target and Home Depot? Target is Minnesota’s 4th largest employer. It dropped DEI, donated $1,000,000 to Trump’s Inauguration and has repeatedly stood with this regime instead of the community. Home Depot allows ICE into their parking lots and stores to kidnap anyone they decide “looks like an immigrant.” We demand Target and Home Depot publically call for Congress to stop funding ICE and affirm their stores as 4th amendment workplaces by publicly posting signage denying entrance to immigration agents without signed judicial warrants and training staff on how to respond if immigration agents enter illegally.
