PLACE for Sustainable Living is a cooperatively-managed nonprofit community center, makerspace, and ecovillage. They are 100% volunteer run and recently secured a lease through 2021. They are currently raising funds to install a wheelchair lift, build a wheelchair accessible bathroom, and heat up our main workshop space for better year-long programming, like PUPPET KARAOKE, Puppet Supper Clubs and late night lude rude and crude puppet mayhem.

Youth Speaks inc. facilitates the Life is Living Festival in Oakland at Defremery Park for all generations of Oaklanders. This is the only Youth Speaks event where our focus is on families, community partners and broad collaborations to create safe spaces for youth to speak year round. We know the primary text for any community is the lives of its people. We celebrate Life and the youth of Oakland California, once again on October 12 at Lil Bobby Hutton Park.

Here are Jun Rollalot and Ms. Mariposa riding their bikes together!! The song was written by Emily Butterfly and was composed for an act prior to this show. It fit in perfectly with the theme of the show that we co-wrote with the Safe Routes To Schools program, All the songs in this production were written by and belong to the Big Tadoo Puppet Crew.
