is also Bike to School Day — May 14. Transform and Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools will help celebrate the thousands of students who safely bike to school this Thursday.

More than 15,000 students from 88 schools participated in this year's Golden Sneaker contest with Alameda County . Caregivers and school staff organized walking school buses, bike trains, assemblies, and other activities to create excitement around active mobility. The Platinum Sneaker for the school with the best overall participation goes to Christensen Middle School in Livermore. More at https://transformca.org/alameda-county-schools-went-for-the-gold/
