We've made huge progress on our recent projects and are moving on to painting next week! We're looking for volunteers to help out next Friday or Saturday, August 28-29. Any time you can give would be a massive help. Many hands make light work!

It's time for painters! A Great Day Farm invites you to help them as we near the end of their renovation. Bring a colleague or friend and let's help finish off their new space!

Happy Thursday! We’re tackling two fun farm projects tomorrow (Friday, August 21) and could really use 2–4 extra pairs of hands!

We’ll be putting up wall insulation and raking out fresh playground mulch. Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole morning, any time you can give makes a huge difference!

Ya know what we realized today? We are almost at our 1000th follower! And ya know what else? We finally set up our new farm swag store over at agreatdayfarm.org/gift-shop.

As we tackle two big farm projects, we’re calling on our awesome community for a little help! Here’s where we could use support right now:

📦 MATERIAL NEEDS
• Drywall: Up to (70) 4' x 12' sheets of drywall

🛠 VOLUNTEER NEEDS
• Playground Prep (Tomorrow - Aug 3): Need 1-2 extra hands most mornings for shoveling dirt, spreading gravel, setting/raking concrete, and more!
• Drywall Hanging (Target start: Fri, July 31): Need strong hands to help maneuver heavy 4' x 12' sheetrock panels into place.
• Wood Sanding (Take-Home Project!): Pick up a batch of wood cross-cuts (as many as you like!) and a template to sand at home on your own schedule.

Week 2 is (almost) wrapped! ⚡ Electrical has been working their magic - adding outlets, moving lighting, and making the space much more functional for all the different activities happening at the farm.

We’re incredibly grateful to Ben McGrath Electrical and Don Pavek Handyman/Construction for helping us accomplish so much with framing and electrical in just the first two weeks!

Next up… drywall! 🧱 As we tackle this next phase, we’re looking for extra support with materials and labor. If you have any community connections or leads to share, we would deeply appreciate it!
