Roberta Humez, the founder of Youth pro Musica in 1970 and Artistic Director for 25 years, was a guiding light and pioneer of the Greater Boston choral community. With her own brand of enthusiasm, discipline and humor, Roberta profoundly influenced generations of choral singers and audience members — a lasting impact that will be felt for years to come.
Roberta’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 10, at 2 p.m. at the First Unitarian Society in Newton www.fusn.org. A group of YpM alums will sing together in honor of Roberta.
