Got 30 seconds? Help us make a change: Join us in urging Congress to pass the Food Date Labeling Act (FDLA). ⬇️

While Spoonfuls focuses on recovering excess food from food businesses like grocery stores to ensure none of the good stuff goes to waste, lots of food waste happens at home, too.

One of the culprits? Confusing date labels, which cost the average U.S. consumer over $760 a year in wasted food. The FDLA would help to fix that with clear, standardized labels.

Visit the link to sign on to a petition circulating now: https://zerofoodwastecoalition.org/224229-2/.

To learn even more about the FDLA and how date label reform can help us achieve less waste, check out Spoonfuls’ blog on date labeling.

You don't need our CEO, Ashley Stanley, to tell you: Gas prices have skyrocketed.

What you might not know: Spoonfuls needs your help filling our tanks - and right now, all donations up to $15,000 will be matched thanks to our generous donors, the Jonash family.

Gifts of every amount fuel our food recovery work, which reaches 86,000 neighbors in need each week and brings us closer to unlocking the full match. Make a gift today: https://onecau.se/_m6afq1
