Open to Newton residents and children attending a Newton Public School in Kindergarten* and Grade 1. Sorry, the program is not open to non-residents attending a private Newton school.

Our community suffered a great loss with the tragic deaths of the Goldstein family in December of 2024. Lyla, Matt, Valerie, and Violet were all dedicated members of the NGBA community.

The Goldstein Family Memorial Volunteer Award honors the exceptional spirit of volunteerism exemplified by the Goldstein family and will recognize a volunteer within the Newton Girls Basketball Association (NGBA) who embodies the values of community, commitment, compassion and fair play.

Please consider nominating an NGBA volunteer who has helped make this season a great one for the girls of Newton.

Nominations can be emailed to [email protected] and are due by Saturday, March 7th.
