We are so honored to celebrate the strides our community has made at this weekend’s Race For Hope Greater Philadelphia.

With more than 3,000 participants, the Greater Philadelphia Brain Tumor Community joined our event at Cooper River Park and has raised nearly $600,000 and counting!

Tumor Takedown Tailgate is back!

This past weekend, Whitney Hayden revived the annual Tumor Takedown Tailgate event in support of NBTS and in memory of her husband, Adam.

After five years of hosting the event with Adam, Whitney decided to bring this important community fundraising event back after his passing last December.

Since 2018, the Tumor Takedown Tailgate has gathered many family and friends to participate in enjoying local bands, local b**r, and local food to celebrate Adam’s life and bring awareness to this important community.

Adam lived for nine years with a malignant glioma and made an undeniable impact on the brain tumor community through his advocacy, mentorship, writing, and deeply empathetic leadership, including joining NBTS’s Board of Directors.

Adam’s legacy lives through his family, friends, NBTS, and the Tumor Takedown Tailgate community, who have raised nearly $100K in gifts to NBTS since 2018.

Last Saturday was filled with love, laughter, meaning, and impact.
