Join us Saturday, October 17th at the American Legion Nonantum Post 440 as we honor this year’s scholarship recipients.

Doors open at 6:00 PM, cocktails and appetizers at 6:15, and dinner by Maria’s Catering at 7:00. Music by Angelo Coviello, plus raffles, photos, and dancing until midnight.
Tickets are $85 each and every ticket helps fund future scholarships.

A few scenes from the day procession of our 91st annual procession! Our hearts were so full to see everyone who came out to honor Our lady of Mt. Carmel on her feast day. It is truly an honor for us to carry on the tradition and build on the foundation of our fore fathers.

From the bottom of hearts THANK YOU! To the devoted faithful, none of this is possible with out any of you and its why we do what we do.

We’ll be back next year for year 92 and we can’t wait for you to see what we have in store!

Members of the St Mary of Carmen Society and the St Mary of Carmen Women’s Society attended 8 AM mass this morning to kick off our feast day 🇮🇹🤍🙏🏼

We have an action packed Madonna day on this beautiful Sunday! Our schedule for the day is as follows:

2 PM - Day Procession kicks off from the front of Our Lady’s Church and we will march with our Saint through the streets of Nonantum like we have done every year for 90 years 🤍

4 PM - Rides and Games open at the carnival untill 11 PM🎡

The Madonna will arrive at approximately 5 PM at Pellegrini Park

5 PM - Fabrizia B**r and W**e Garden opens

10 PM - Promptly our night candlelight procession will leave Pellegrini Park as we bring the Madonna back home for the Flight of the Angel and conclusion of our feast, we hope you join us for a few surprises along the route🎆🇮🇹

11 PM - Conclusion of the Festival at Our Lady’s Church for Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament and Closing of the Feast.

We cannot wait to see you out there today, Buona Festa & Viva La Madonna 🇮🇹🤍🙏🏼

A little rain never hurt anybody! 🌦️🇮🇹

Night 4 of was another unforgettable evening!

Tonight, we were honored to welcome State Representative John Lawn, who proudly represents the Nonantum neighborhood and has always been a steadfast supporter of our community and the St. Mary of Carmen Society. He was joined by fellow Newton State Representatives Amy Sangiolo and Greg Schwartz, who also have been such great supporters of this neighborhood. We were also honored to welcome Newton’s new Police Chief, Chief Cohoon whose presence meant so much to our community. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of all who joined us tonight—Newton is fortunate to have such dedicated public servants.
