We did it! We successfully delivered a carful of much needed items requested by Maria Greenberg, our Ward 1 City Council...

We did it! We successfully delivered a carful of much needed items requested by Maria Greenberg, our Ward 1 City Councilor, to 30 refugee families. Thank you to all those who graciously donated. Here’s a list of what we donated:

14 cases of diapers
15 lbs. of pasta
64 lbs. of rice
30 lbs. of flour
4 large containers of oil
4 large containers of laundry detergent
5 lbs. of chickpeas
It was worth seeing the 3 little kids in the window with the biggest smiles on their faces as we dropped off the items.

I hope everyone will agree this is one of the ways the NWF community can give back to our local community.

Join us tomorrow night November 29th at 7:30pm for discussing the Netflix documentary ‘Tinder Swindler’.

The Tinder Swindler is a British true crime documentary film directed by Felicity Morris and released on Netflix on 2 February 2022. The documentary tells the story of the Israeli conman Simon Leviev (born Shimon Hayut) who used the dating application Tinder to connect with individuals who he then emotionally manipulated into financially supporting his lavish lifestyle on the pretext he needed the money to escape his "enemies." - from Wikipedia.
