🎙️ New Podcast Episode — in Spanish!

What does open education look like when it's designed not just to be open — but to actively reach the people most often excluded?

We're thrilled to share Episode 98 of the OEGlobal Voices podcast, where host Alan Levine sits down with Ana Michelle Téllez Ferrer, winner and founder of AlmaFuerteLab / Laboratorio de Vanguardia Pedagógica in Colombia.

Ana Michelle's work is a powerful example of what Open Education looks like when it leads with community, affection, and inclusion — centering women, youth, and people with disabilities, and building learning experiences that are not only open and accessible, but deeply human. 💙🌎

In this episode, you hear about …
* Inclusion as a key design choice, using Open Education to reach people who are often left out.
* Community-based education is not just an extension of teaching; it is the basis of real learning.
* The 2025 OEAward did more than recognize Ana Michelle’s work; it showed her impact to the world.
* New voices are changing what Open Education leadership means.

What an Open Education celebration. 🌍

Open Education Week 2026 brought together 146 organizers (including 86 OEGlobal Members) across 273 events, 24 campaigns, and 134 newly shared open resources. Our first cohort of 11 lifted the week even higher with 34 Sharebacks of their experiences of your events.
