The Waltham Boys & Girls Club joins our entire community in mourning the loss of Yolanda Cellucci, an extraordinary woman whose generosity, strength, and unmistakable spirit touched generations.
From humble beginnings, Yolanda built a remarkable career through determination, vision, and hard work. Yet no matter how successful she became, she never forgot where she came from. She gave the Waltham community one of the most valuable gifts anyone can offer: her genuine love for others and the gift of her time.
Yolanda did more than support local organizations. She showed up. Whether she was responding to an email or phone call, attending an event, championing a cause, or, as this photo so beautifully captures, spending time connecting with young people at the Club, she made people feel that they mattered.
We learned so much from Yolanda’s example over the years. We are deeply grateful for the impact she made on our organization, the opportunities she helped provide for our kids, and the kindness and love she shared so freely.
Our heartfelt condolences are with Yolanda’s family and all those who loved her. There will never be another Yolanda, but the legacy she created will live on throughout Waltham for generations to come.
