Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my!

We recently had a great visit to Franklin Park Zoo, where our members enjoyed an exciting day of exploring, learning, and getting up close with amazing animals from around the world. Trips like these create lasting memories while inspiring curiosity, discovery, and a love of learning! Thank you to everyone who made the day possible 💙

Our upper elementary and middle school members recently had the opportunity to participate in an engaging STEM project, led by our incredible partners at Thermo Fisher Scientific!

Through hands-on learning, our members explored STEM concepts in a fun, exciting, and meaningful way. Experiences like these help spark curiosity and critical thinking, encourage problem-solving, and build teamwork.

We are so grateful to Thermo Fisher for volunteering their time, sharing their expertise, and bringing such an enriching project to our classrooms. Thank you for inspiring our youth!

A huge thank you to Global Partners & Global for Good for not only sponsoring our Summer Carnival Day on Friday, but also for bringing nearly 30 volunteers to help our staff create an unforgettable day for our club members.

In the spirit of our Animal Kingdom themed-week, our members split up into teams: The Reptiles, Mammals, Fish & Amphibians, and Birds! They spent the day showing off their teamwork, creativity, and competitive spirit as they participated in a variety of exciting challenges and activities. There was even a giant water slide to cool off under the summer sun!

More than 5,200 meals served in 3 weeks, and we're just getting started! ☀️🍎

Through our Summer Eats program, in partnership with Project Bread - Child Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and our incredible community partners, we're helping ensure kids and teens across Waltham have access to free, nutritious meals all summer long.

Every meal means one less thing for a family to worry about and one more opportunity for a child to learn, play, and thrive.

We look forward to serving many more meals in the weeks ahead. Thank you to everyone who makes this program possible and helps ensure every child in Waltham has the nourishment they need for a healthy, successful summer. 💙
