The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge program provides a free home away from home for cancer patients and their caregivers. The American Cancer Society AstraZeneca Hope Lodge in Philadelphia, which opened in 2009, offers 37 guest rooms located near treatment centers in the area.

Congratulations to Fans for the Cure’s great friend and program supporter, Nick Castellanos, who signed with Padres.

We still recall his grand slam last Father’s Day at Citizens Bank Park on the same day the Philadelphia Phillies invited us to throw out the first pitch.
