Marks JCH

Marks JCH Rooted in Jewish values, Marks JCH connects and empowers members of the broader community.

The Marks JCH opened in 1927 as an anchor for the Brooklyn Jewish community. Since then, we have served more than four million individuals of all ages, religions and nationalities through our social service, health, educational, cultural and recreational programs. Since the mid-1980s, we have helped resettle more than 50,000 immigrants from the former Soviet Union. A home away from home, the JCH i

s where visitors meet the love of their life, foster life-long friendships, grow to adulthood, and, for some, obtain life-saving support. Weโ€™re a center of Jewish community life, a recreational hub, a social service center and a resettlement house.

As the month of May comes to a close, we wanted to take a minute and thanks everyone who joined us for the Jewish // AAPI Heritage Shalom Dragon Family Festival and helped turn the streets near the J into such a vibrant celebration of Jewish & Asian cultures.

From live performances and lion dances to crafts, games, drumming, food, and nonstop smiles โ€” it was incredible to see so many families and neighbors coming together and sharing this experience โค๏ธ

Big thank you to every performer, volunteer, partner, and community member who made this day possible.

And of course, thank you Kosha Dillz for an amazing live performance ๐ŸŽค

See you at the next one ๐Ÿซถ
