Today, we proudly stood in front of the NYC Department of Education to raise our voices for an important message: No child should be left behind.
Every child in New York City deserves equitable access to a quality education, no matter where they live or what language they speak. We also need more Gifted and Talented programs and opportunities that identify and nurture talented children, helping them strengthen their skills and reach their full potential.
A heartfelt thank-you to Council Member Susan Zhuang for organizing this important rally.
And thank you to all the educators, community leaders, parents, and advocates who stood together in support of our young generation and their right to better educational opportunities.

🐲 A roar of success for our TWULocal100 family! 🐲

We are incredibly proud to announce that the TWU Local 100 MTA Asian Members have officially formed their own Lion Dance team! After more than 2 months of dedicated training with the United Chinese Association of Brooklyn Master Yung, they have reached a major milestone: they now have their very own lion heads! 🦁✨

We held the traditional Lion Head Awakening Ceremony to bring these lions to life. It was a beautiful moment to witness the culmination of their hard work and dedication to preserving Chinese culture.

Thank you to these amazing members for their commitment to learning this ancient art form. We wish you the best of luck as you continue to grow, and we can't wait to see you bring happiness, luck, and joy to everyone in the future!

On Monday, we held a health seminar, ‘Decoding Lupus’, at Sheepshead Bay Community Center.

A special thank you to Eliza , LANtern supervisor , Social Work Programs, Hospital for Special Surgery for providing an informative and easy-to-understand presentation on lupus and patiently answering everyone’s questions.

Through this seminar, participants gained a deeper understanding of lupus and became more aware of the importance of taking care of their health. ❤️
