With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our dear father, Rabbi Yitzchok Meir Hertz ע״ה.

A devoted chossid of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, educator, and shliach, he dedicated his life to spreading Torah and Chassidus and played a central role in building Lubavitch life in London. He taught generations of talmidim and founded a warm, welcoming community that impacted countless lives.

Our father meant the world to us. He adored our children and all of his grandchildren, and he cherished every simcha—going out of his way to be there, no matter the distance. The joy of those moments stayed with him long afterward, giving him a true lift and great nachas from his beloved grandchildren.

He visited our Chabad House and synagogue a number of times, and truly enjoyed it, taking great pride in our Bensonhurst community.

His legacy of dedication, warmth, and unwavering commitment to Torah and Yiddishkeit will continue to inspire us and so many others.

✨Sharing a personal Hashgacha Pratis — a Divine Providence story that happened this morning:

Years ago, the Lubavitcher Rebbe gave out this Tanya, which included a dollar. It was vacuum-sealed in plastic, and we just opened it today.

We couldn’t believe it — it says it was printed in honor of the Rebbe’s 40th year of nesius (leadership). What hashgacha pratis that it's bh our 40th anniversary today too!

Shavuot got a delicious makeover at our Family Cheesecake Bake!

Instead of just hearing about the holiday, the kids experienced it — through hands-on creativity, meaningful learning, and lots of fun in the kitchen.

As they explored the beauty of Shavuot and its customs, they turned inspiration into something they could actually see, build, and taste.

🌸 Flower bouquets were crafted to decorate their cheesecake jars with color and meaning
🧁 Cheesecakes were mixed, layered, and assembled with excitement
