Every June, we celebrate those we’ve lost and those who are still here. Still loud. Still loved.

Black and brown trans women like Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera gave everything so we could have community, visibility, and the right to exist as we are. And we’re still fighting to protect those rights.

Right now, trans people are losing their IDs, their jobs, and their right to exist safely in public spaces. The 14th Amendment promises equal protection for all of us, and we are going to hold this country to that promise.

Celebrate everything you are this month. Carry the people who made this freedom possible with you. And let’s keep fighting for love, joy, and liberation — no matter your gender or sexuality.

🗣️FUND CARE, NOT ICE!

Republicans are pushing $70 billion into ICE and Border Patrol while families are struggling to afford health care, groceries, gas, and utilities. ICE is a death machine. This bill hands them another blank check to expand harm in our communities. Since Trump took office, at least 49 people have died in ICE custody because of neglect, abuse, and inhumane conditions. That’s one life lost every 10 days.

On May 20, hundreds of immigrants, allies and working families affected by the cuts on SNAP, Medicaid and ACA are coming together in D.C. to say enough! We need you there with us. Sign up at the link in bio.

Republicans in Tennessee took a majority Black city and killed its voting power. This has everything to do with race.

Tennessee is just the first. Louisiana, Alabama and South Carolina are all moving right now. The Supreme Courts decision is creating an immediate domino effect.

The NAACP already filed an emergency lawsuit. A lawmaker's brother got arrested for protesting his rights being taken away from him and his people. This is blatant racism. Our families didn't die to watch racist white nationalists rewind the clock in America.
