to a few weeks ago when some new friends from Ridge Church came up with our good buddy to serve in Hell’s Kitchen. 🙌 Their team jumped right in...showing up with generous hearts, ready hands, and a real desire to love and support this neighborhood. From helping with projects around the space to spending time connecting with our community, their presence was such a gift. We’re grateful for partners like Ridge Church who care deeply about serving the city and investing in the people of Hell’s Kitchen. Thank you for being part of what’s happening here!

As Easter approaches, we’re excited for local traditions like community Easter egg hunts, and we are always honored to be a part of Easter Sunday with the One Community Church family - a day where all are welcome to come together in celebration, hope, and joy. Spring reminds us that new life and hope are always possible. 🌷 A schedule for our initiatives this season, and an egg hunt we are hosting this weekend are included in this post. If you have any questions about upcoming events or ways to get involved, please feel free to reach out, we’d love to hear from you!

A little Hell’s Kitchen history for this St. Patrick's Day: This photo shows the Bus Terminal in 1950 at West 40th and 41st Streets and 8th Avenue. At the time, the neighborhood was known for its strong Irish roots and the lively streets that gave Hell’s Kitchen its “runaround” reputation... full of grit, community, and character. It feels especially fitting to look back today as major changes and construction around the Port Authority are once again taking shape. In a neighborhood that’s seen so many chapters, a little Irish luck seems welcome as the next one unfolds. 🌟🚌 If you’re in the mood for some local history today, check out the podcast episode on Hell’s Kitchen: https://www.boweryboyshistory.com/2025/04/hells-kitchen-new-yorks-wild-west.html
