Business of Sports School Young Professionals Advisory Committee Supporting BOSS, a New York City public High School serving all five boroughs. Most students most live in low-income and/or high-risk communities.

The Business of Sports School ("BOSS") is a public high school in New York City for students interested in sports business. Students commute from all five boroughs and most live in low-income and/or high-risk communities. The Young Professionals Advisory Committee ("YPAC") exists to:

1) In partnership with iMentor, help find college-educated mentors for each student at BOSS

2) In partnership wit

h the school's Career and Technical Education Department, help find companies to sponsor internship programs for BOSS students

3) Educate students on the costs of college and help provide them with the necessary tools to apply for financial aid. The YPAC has created a proprietary College Cost Calculator and focuses specifically on FAFSA, the NYS TAP, and works closely with FastWeb.

4) Organize guest speeches, lectures and panel discussions for BOSS students. Prior YPAC events have been held at the NFL and Morgan Stanley.

5) Raise money for the school's College Scholarship Fund.
