Our Community Day Showers of HOPE was an amazing day filled with laughter, generosity, connection, delicious food, and community spirit!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible community partners: Munch King, Life Church New York, Saints John & Paul Parish, Temple Israel Center, Montefiore New Rochelle, The Lincoln Park Conservancy, New Rochelle Police Department, and “Sensational” Shiloh Baptist Church! 

And to our amazing HOPE volunteers and staff — THANK YOU! Whether you cooked, packed backpacks, served meals, organized, cleaned, donated, welcomed families, or jumped in wherever needed, YOU made a difference. 
This is what HOPE looks like.
A community coming together and saying, “WE’VE GOT YOU.”

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE BACK-TO-SCHOOL CELEBRATION! 

Yesterday was filled with BIG smiles, lots of laughter, delicious food, ice cream, and SO MUCH HOPE!

We were thrilled to welcome and serve more than 530 children and adults as our community came together to celebrate the start of a brand-new school year!

And let’s talk about Mickey and Minnie!  They were a HUGE hit with children of all ages and helped make the day extra special!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to HOPE’s incredible staff and our amazing team of volunteers who worked so hard to make the day such a success. Your dedication, energy, and commitment to our community make events like this possible.

We HOPE to see you on Sunday, August 30, at the Community Day / Showers of HOPE event at “Sensational” Shiloh Baptist Church in New Rochelle, beginning at 12:30pm.

Today was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to serve others with compassion.

A heartfelt thank you to Life Church New York in Mamaroneck for organizing the “Haircuts for HOPE” event and for their continued commitment to giving back to our community.

We are especially grateful to Pastors Wayne and Jim for their ongoing partnership, support, and shared dedication to helping our neighbors in need.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Meals on Main for preparing and providing meals for distribution, ensuring that those we served received nourishment.

To every volunteer who donated their time and talents today, THANK YOU. Your generosity helped create moments of connection and hope for so many individuals.

And a special shoutout to the incredible HOPE staff and volunteers whose dedication, compassion, and tireless service make our mission possible every day. Your commitment continues to strengthen our community and change lives.

Together, we are building a stronger, more caring community one act of kindness at a time. ❤️

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers who started cooking at 7:30 this morning to prepare and serve a delicious homemade breakfast to our clients by 9am. ❤️

In celebration of Mother’s Day, HOPE was honored yesterday to support moms in our community by distributing essential care items, including diapers, wipes, laundry detergent, deodorant, body spray, bras, underwear, feminine hygiene products, sweaters, toiletries, and so much more.

We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated volunteers whose time, compassion, and hard work made this outreach possible. Thank you for helping us bring comfort, support, and appreciation to so many deserving mothers this Mother’s Day.

And a special shout-out to HOPE’s Friday morning breakfast team! Our guests truly enjoyed the hot homemade meal, and your kindness made the day even more meaningful. 💜
