Thank you for having me visit your class today, Ms. Sayegh! I loved learning more about SWBOCES Southern Westchester BOCES and absolutely LOVED seeing the Cosmetology program in action! ❤️

Every single high school senior raised their hand when asked if they plan to pursue a future in the beauty industry! 💇🏻‍♀️💅💄 From hairstylists and nail technicians to makeup artists, these students are passionate about their futures and see exciting possibilities in an industry they love.

And here’s even more exciting news! 🎉 Operation Prom National Network will be adding Southern Westchester BOCES to the list of cosmetology programs eligible for the Sandra Pernicone Scholarship in 2027!

Plus, through an articulation agreement with The College of Westchester, these students have the opportunity to earn college credit! The College Of Westchester

Today, we welcomed students from The College Of Westchester to Prominent Pathways to select free professional clothing and learn about career and financial resources through our partners at KeyBank

Our Board Member, Linda, and volunteer Geraldine helped style the students so they could feel confident and prepared for their next steps.

We were also pleased to welcome **Westchester County Legislator Anant Nambiar**, who took the time to visit and learn more about Operation Prom and our growing Prominent Pathways program.

**Want to get your students involved?** We offer workshops and free career clothing to help young adults build confidence and prepare for their futures. Reach out to learn more about bringing your students to Prominent Pathways!

**Have job openings or looking for interns?** We’d love to connect with employers who want to help young adults gain valuable experience and take their next steps toward success.

Together, we’re building confidence, creating connections, and opening doors to brighter futures!

We traveled two hours from New York to Connecticut and spent $580 on tickets + $460 on a hotel so two nine-year-old best friends could celebrate their birthdays together at the Freya Skye concert.

We purchased our tickets in February.

But the tickets were never transferred in time for us to attend. We found this out just an hour before the concert started!

Imagine explaining to two children that the birthday experience they had been looking forward to is not happening after you’ve already traveled, checked into a hotel and made all the plans.

Since sharing our experience, I’ve learned that other fans are reporting similar ticket-delivery problems involving Freya Skye concerts on resale platforms, including SeatGeek and StubHub.

This raises serious questions about how resale listings are verified, what happens when sellers fail to deliver, and whether the current safeguards adequately protect families who trust these platforms with their money.

**This is bigger than one missed concert. It’s about consumer accountability.**

I’m calling on consumer advocates, journalists and other affected ticket buyers to help bring attention to this issue.

If you’ve purchased concert tickets through SeatGeek or StubHub and never received them in time to attend, I’d like to hear your story. Please preserve your order confirmations, promised delivery dates and customer service communications.

I’m asking for answers, accountability and meaningful protections so other families don’t experience the same thing.

**Media outlets and consumer advocates: I welcome the opportunity to share my documentation and connect with other affected buyers.**

I’m 2/2 tonight! 🎉 Made it to celebrate my friend Sandy’s **1-year anniversary of Dylan & Cherie’s**, a beautiful event space at 55 Church Street in White Plains!

And there’s more to come! Be sure to follow Sandy Daly for her upcoming podcasting workshop and Halloween events for adults. 🎃🎙️

Such a fun evening at the **White Plains Youth Bureau Gala!** 🎉

The College of Westchester was a community sponsor and has partnered with the WP Youth Bureau on several programs that create fantastic opportunities for local high school students.

It’s always inspiring to see the impact these programs have on our community and the doors they open for young people!

And can we talk about the medical courses? The students absolutely LOVE them! 🩺🩻 I’m starting to wonder if I should sign up for a few myself. 😂

What do you think, Doc? Am I ready for a new adventure in the classroom as a student? 🤔

Fourteen years ago, I joined Her Honor Mentoring and welcomed my very first mentee from my high school alma mater. Each year through 2020, I had the incredible privilege of meeting and mentoring so many amazing young women through Judge Judy’s program.
Today, we celebrated 20 years of Her Honor, and I was especially honored to sit at Judge Judy’s table. She is as feisty as she is inspiring, unapologetically herself, and always reminds you that you make your own destiny. You become who you want to be. And she’s absolutely right!
Congratulations to Judge Judy and to my friends Nicole & Gerald for building such an incredible program and creating opportunities that have impacted so many young women.
And a special shoutout to my very first mentee, Rachelle! So proud of you!
Joanie, so grateful to have this video to remember you and hear your voice.

Here’s to 20 years of empowering young women—and to the many more lives Her Honor will inspire! ✨

It has been such a wonderful experience working with Roc Nation & the Shawn Carter Foundation, and a rewarding opportunity to dress some of the scholars from the foundation. Operation Prom volunteers loved helping each of them feel confident and beautiful for this event. The premiere was inspiring—and I’ll share more photos soon!

Today, we remember and honor the lives we lost on September 11, 2001.
In their memory, we came together to do something that reflects the very best of our community—serve others.
We are proud to welcome 8 new volunteers to Operation Prom National Network
