Our Executive Director, Jennifer Lanser, chaperoned the NRHS Orchestra to NYSSMA Majors, where, under the guidance of Ms. Claire Stancarone, they achieved the prestigious Level 6 Gold with distinction playing this song by Karl Jenkins called Palladio. Lanser stated, "It was a tremendous honor to witness many of our Songcatchers students, who have matured as musicians alongside our equally gifted volunteer teachers, attain the highest honor. It is gratifying to know that Songcatchers is making a valuable contribution to music education in the City School District."
