Each month, during every exchange year, PAX nominates students from our sponsored programs, FLEX and YES, to be Participants of the Month. While we wait for our new class of students to arrive, we'll be congratulating our new alumni who were nominated last year!

In October 2025, our PAX FLEX Participant of the Month was Feruzakhon from Uzbekistan, who spent her exchange year in Maryland. A bit from her nomination:

It's hard to say goodbye to host families, friends, and classmates! Guljeren from Turkmenistan and Polina and Tetiana from Ukraine did farewell presentations to thank their Arizona host high school for a great exchange year.
