This time, we’re honored to help shine a light on the life and legacy of our sweet Sean. Earlier this year, Sean lost his battle with HNRNPH2, but his impact on our community will never be forgotten.

In Sean’s honor, his incredible family has organized an Awareness & Fundraiser Walk at Sam Houston Park in Amarillo, TX. The event is completely free to attend, and while donations are welcome, the greatest gift is your presence and support.

If you’re local, we hope you’ll join us as we come together to celebrate Sean, raise awareness for HNRNPH2, and support families affected by this rare disorder.

What an unforgettable three days at our 4th Annual HNRNPH2 Conference & Family Meeting in Europe! πŸ’› We gathered in the UK for the very first time, in the beautiful seaside town of Brighton, where the sun truly shone on our community. β˜€οΈπŸŒŠ

We were honored to welcome 29 families, representing 10 countries and including 26 patients in attendance, along with 18 researchers and clinicians.

Throughout the conference, families participated in neurological interviews, motor skills assessments, EEGs, and blood draws, all contributing to vital research that brings us closer to better understanding HNRNPH2-RNDD and developing future treatments.

We also shared 17 inspiring presentations and a valuable Q&A session with the scientists, creating meaningful conversations between researchers and families.

In between the important work, there was time for connection, laughter, beach walks, and exploring Brighton together.

Most importantly, we left feeling stronger as a community and filled with hope for the future of treatment for our children.
